Job description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources (HR) to lead all HR functions at our call center operations in Mérida. You’ll be responsible for leading all HR functions with a focus on talent acquisition, workforce retention, labor compliance, and employee engagement. You will play a key role in building a scalable HR infrastructure to support growth, reduce attrition, and maintain a high-performing, people-first culture.
Job requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Mexican labor laws and regulatory frameworks.
Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a multinational or cross-cultural environment.
Certifications such as SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or their Mexican equivalents.
Familiarity with HRIS and digital HR tools.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Development:
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to attract and retain top talent.
Lead initiatives for employee development, training, and succession planning.
Employee Relations & Culture:
Promote a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace culture.
Address employee concerns with a focus on conflict resolution and workplace harmony.
Compensation & Benefits:
Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to the local market.
Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and other regulatory bodies.
Compliance & Policy Management:
Maintain up-to-date HR policies in line with national labor regulations and corporate standards.
Manage audits, risk assessments, and labor relations.
HR Operations & Technology:
Lead HR systems implementation and optimization (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems).
Monitor HR metrics and KPIs to guide decision-making.
